Wilson Walton International (UK) Ltd., a subsidiary of Corrpro Companies, Inc., was recently successful in winning a contract to supply the complete impressed current cathodic protection system for the HMS Ocean, the largest warship to have been built in the UK for more than 14 years.

The vessel is now being constructed and will enter operational service later in 1997 when it will be based in Plymouth, England.

The HMS Ocean is a 25,000 ton aircraft carrier with the capacity for 20 support and attack helicopters and is designed to accommodate 800 of England's Royal Marines. The Ocean will have some of the most sophisticated communications and weaponry systems available in the world today.

This significant achievement testifies to Wilson Walton's status as a worldwide leader in marine cathodic protection.
